reorder preprints, they should be here monday, camera also broke, should be here wednesday
car is getting closer to being ready. There was a desert race in Albuquerque, but I couldnt go, Dad's business is a full time deal at the moment, its ghost crew status so we can survive at the moment. we're going to be this way until the first of the year, Im working a ton of hours in hopes of making it to the nmdrc 2010 race season, I have one more shot at this and I want it, bad, more than anything else. Thats what off road racing is, to be competitive you have to fully commit, you cant back down and you cant second guess yourself, its as much a mental thing as it is a physical thing. And thats why I abandoned team sports for it, when I lose or do bad, I dont have anyone to blame but myself, I am my pitcrew, I am the racer, when Im not racing Im working so I can race. It requires work, and Im dead serious about it. All I want is to be the absolute best I can, I want to do something big, something that will inspire, so I picked racing, its something Im decently good at, I got into the top ten my first race where there was a ton of sandbagging, I am not going to back down, I am fully commited.

Preprints came in!
Preprints came in thursday, they were hard to put on, I am going to have to order another set because in the end i had to throw away to the two side pannel decals. I have a friend whos rather good at this and hes going to help with the next set. Front is good though, and its now part of the sites header. I want to ride so bad, it snowed this week, the tow trucks have been running almost non stop, and wednesday I didnt go to school so I could help clean up an accident.
All this and more can be found on my facebook, just search my name.
heres a song!

Preprints ordered!
Ordered some preprints from speedgraffix.com
white with black numbers and my name at the top, should be pretty sweet when they get here on wednesday, nice people to deal with over the phone too. Will post again when they get here.
That said, why would a mostly trail rider get pre prints? Well thats because I'm going racing this spring, nmdrc events baby! We're going desert racing, and the 95 is back in action!
enjoy the movie

Solo Ride
After work yesterday I decided I wanted to go for a ride, texted around, found no one to go with, Decided that was no good, and went anyway. Rode down the block, dropped into the ravine that runs through town (highspeed sandwash) being that it runs along side the interstate, I was able to judge that I got up to around 75 mph here. Eventually came upon a rather old tunnel, went underneath it and climbed out of the purque, crossed the street, got on the old dirt road which runs to the motocross track, did a lap there, went to a rather nasty hill climb spot, attempted it, but didnt make it, got back on the main trail, ran all the way out to the sand dunes, rode there for about 30 minutes, turned around and came home, man, what a blast!

Death of the sport.....
Its winter, things are dying, the trees, the air feels heavier, its cold, soon all to see will be white. The bikes are getting put in the shed for most people, now imagine what the reaction would be to get the toys out next spring only to find that there is nowhere to ride. Its hard to fathom, but there are people who are working towards this exact goal. What are we to do about this? Well, it starts with us! stay on the trail, keep the bike quiet, and educated new riders to do the same, be generous to others you meet, hikers, horseback riders, and the mountain bikers. The golden rule comes into play, treat them like you would want to be treated if you were in their shoes! pass slowly, wave, stay on the correct side of the trail!
Then politicaly, its quite simple, the blueribbion coalition, ama, and tread lightly, also feel free to write your reps, keep an eye on thumpertalk.com and mototips.com for action alers, together we can make a diffrence, and please do, before its too late for all of us.

Music and the yz450f
Yes yes I know, its a movie song, but I like this kind of music, who cares about rock or rap? who needs someone screaming or making themselves look tough through their words? Instruments are the music to me.

At the same time, the supercross season is starting up again, Chad Reed wasnt at the U.S Open, however there are a few photos in circulation that have him riding a Kawasaki KX450F, That said, Congratulations to James Stewart for winning the U.S Open, on board the all new YZ450F.
Have you seen this thing? Its pretty damn cool! the cylinder is tilted backwards, efi, tornado exhaust, air intake enters from the front, efi (yamaha even makes a handheld tuner for the system!) bike is pretty sweet. For specs and more information visit the yz400/426/450 sections of mototips.com and thumpertalk.com. Too bad the 2 strokes didnt change though, just because I am not a 2 stroke fan doesnt mean I hate them and want to go away, when will they realize that as a public we like having options?
