There was a desert race in Albuquerque, but I couldnt go, Dad's business is a full time deal at the moment, its ghost crew status so we can survive at the moment. we're going to be this way until the first of the year, Im working a ton of hours in hopes of making it to the nmdrc 2010 race season, I have one more shot at this and I want it, bad, more than anything else. Thats what off road racing is, to be competitive you have to fully commit, you cant back down and you cant second guess yourself, its as much a mental thing as it is a physical thing. And thats why I abandoned team sports for it, when I lose or do bad, I dont have anyone to blame but myself, I am my pitcrew, I am the racer, when Im not racing Im working so I can race. It requires work, and Im dead serious about it. All I want is to be the absolute best I can, I want to do something big, something that will inspire, so I picked racing, its something Im decently good at, I got into the top ten my first race where there was a ton of sandbagging, I am not going to back down, I am fully commited.
